The subject matter will make students learn the use of nautical charts, navigational publications such as sailing directions, tide tables, notices to mariners, radio nav warnings and ship's routieng information.
Students will show their competencies in making passage plans by using the above materials. Aside from it, they will learn and practise radar plotting and cross bearings with least errors.
