This course covers the philosophy, theory, and principles of Penology, the institutional relationship to Criminology and Criminal Justice. It includes the concept and issues of sentencing penalty, the administration and management institutional confinement facilities of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) such as the Police (PNP, NBI, Immigration, and others), Detention facilities, BJMP, Provincial Jails, and the Bureau of Corrections.
